This movie may perhaps not sound or look good to you but it actually is surprising fun to watch!

Reason why I wasn't expecting much from this movie was because new age westerns, made with low budgets, tend to be absolutely horrible ones to watch. Not this one though. Despite its low budget, it still manages to look good, with also plenty of nice action in it. The camera-work, the editing, the directing, it's all part of the reason why this movie has a very pleasant look and feeling to it.

And that's a good thing really, since story-wise, this obviously isn't a very solid movie. Most of the time, I didn't even really know what was going on in it. Still good thing about it is that the story is pretty original and creative but that doesn't equal being a great or surprising one as well. Thing that makes it original is the fact that it also features some nice supernatural elements in it.

It's a movie that features Danny Trejo as an undead gunslinger and Mickey Rourke as the devil. Doesn't that sound like tons of fun already? Normally a movie starring both Mickey Rourke and Danny Trejo in it does set off a few alarm bells but in this case they really helped to make this movie a good and fun one to watch.

This of course by no means is a great movie but then again it also wasn't made to impress. It simply was made to entertain and entertain it does. I truly had lots of fun with this movie, no matter how crazy and bad things got at times. It's simply a movie to enjoy and not one to analyze and nitpick to death.

It's a movie that works out well within its genre and despite never being a great one with anything, I was entertained by it, all throughout! This is definitely a watchable movie, even if it doesn't appear to you that way. Give it a shot, it may surprise you!
